Education Research Focus
Lecturing and tutoring first year mathematics students made Anita curious about how to be an effective teacher. Her research interests are: improving first year success; participation in a community of practice as a means of identity formation, and innovations to improve learning such as online tutoring, multi-lingual video explanations, white board tutorials, project work and vacation ‘camps’.
